DSCC Program Office approval to bid:
- Verifies that the device, as listed by part number, is obsolete
- Attempts to locate residual assets of the original manufacturer's device through 18 microcircuit locators
- Sends a Urgent Data Request (UDR) through GIDEP requesting the device by part number and quantity
- Contacts SIA members for support and comments
